1. It is the first time we are in Pokhara. And we fall in love with it. New Pokhara lodge is the best hotel we had in Nepal. We nearly feel as we are in Germany at home. 2. Over 20 month ago I left Scotland on a round the world bicycle tour. Since the start I have stayed in well over 500 different hotels, guest houses, hostels and other establishments (and also one bus shelter in England). Some of them have been extremely pleasant places to stay. But I put New Pokhara Lodge at the top of my list. This is an excellent hotel. Both owners and staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is ideal, being very close to lake and yet in its own secluded garden. The rooms are most comfortable and spotlessly clean. When I arrived I intended to stay two or three nights. I must say that it's probably one of the best hotels in its category in the whole region. The staff and the two brothers Jagan and Mahendra are always helpful, service is great and location is unbeatable. From over 400 people that I have brought here. 13. I was so happy here that although I had planned to stay a fortnight I remained for nearly a month. It is good to     know that the water and food are safe, with no fear of illness. I enjoyed the peace of the attractive garden and looked with wonder as from the roof I watched dawn light up the snows of the Annapurna Range and Machhapuchere.
